R3 - Button stuck

Hi there.
Some days ago I had to shoot in moderate rain, tried to cover the camera as good as I could, but didn't have a dedicated rain cover. So now, a few days later, my Mf-n button on top of the body is stuck. Any ideas how to fix this?

Seems strange.. are you sure it’s related to the rain? I never had any issues with my weather sealed bodies due to even torrential rain.

I can’t help you with your issue, but I do have a tip! I bought a load of shower caps which I keep in the bottom of my camera bag - (those plastic elasticated headwear items one wears in the shower to keep one’s hair dry). No weight, no bulk and next to no cost. At a pinch and when caught short they’re ideal. Perhaps as a niche in my case, as I use a spider holster, but it really works a treat!

Guess I found a solution:
I put a very, very, very tiny drop of silicone oil on a q-tip and whiped very carefilly around the button.
Seems like some grain or dust has blocked the button, now it works again like it should.
The tip with shower caps is great anyway.

I always carry a thinktank rain cover with me on every outing, even if they are not calling for rain and have had good results with them, if it helps.
