Canon will announce the EF-M 28mm f/3.5 IS STM Macro lens shortly, and as you can see it is quite a unique design, especially with the built-in macro light. This lens is a 1:2(correction!) 1.2x magnification, just like the EF 50mm f/3.5 compact macro. This lens has an effective focal length of 48mm on the APS-C sensor equipped EOS M cameras.
