We're told that the previously mentioned large sensor PowerShot camera to complete the lineup of higher end compact cameras will be announced at CES 2015 in Las Vegas. This will complete a trio that consists of the PowerShot G1 X Mark II & PowerShot G7 X.

Pricing and specs haven't been sent our way yet.

CES 2015 takes place between January 6 and January 9 of 2015.
