It's definitely not as exciting as the upcoming EF 85mm f/1.4L IS USM, but Canon will be introducing a new EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM kit lens with the upcoming EOS Rebel cameras. This will be the first lens introduced in 2017.
Beyond this and the EF 85mm f/1.4L IS, we're hearing that Canon will introduce another “interesting” lens, though we don't know what that is at the moment.
Exact announcement dates for the above are still unknown, but we hope to find out soon.
