An odd patent for an EVF. It looks like if you move the eyepiece to the LCD screen, it'll change display area to just show there. Once the eyepiece is off the screen, it'll go back to a full screen LCD. While I don't imagine the screen is as high resolution as most EVFs, this could have some kind of a low cost solution.

As pointed out on the forum, it looks like this would be an accessory that would attached to a flash shoe.
