Review: Epson SureColor P400 Printer

Epson announced the A3+ P400 printer back in September and Keith over at Northlight Images has posted an exhaustive review of the new printer. As with most new printers, improvements are incremental, but in the case of the P400, they are noticeable.

From Northlight:

A printer capable of producing excellent colour prints, especially on glossy paper, where the gloss optimiser gives a surface finish often lacking on glossy inkjet prints.

With good ICC printer profiles the printer manages excellent black and white prints on heavier art papers.

A wide range of media options including roll paper make it easy to experiment with new ways of presenting photographs. Read the full review

I'm going to be in the market for a new 17″ printer this spring I think and it'll likely come down to the Epson P800 and the Canon ImagePROGRAF Pro-1000, which we're eager for Keith to review.
