Sony will be announcing at least two new lenses ahead of CP+ in late February, and there's a strong possibility of even more.

Upcoming Sony Lenses

  • Sony FE 16-25mm f/2.8 G
  • Sony FE 24-50mm f/2.8 G

This looks like a solid pair of lenses for the Sony crowd.

  1. Will be interesting to find out more about those lenses. The zoom ranges are quite small, obviously. I assume the lenses will be small and light though. Will have to see what they image quality is like, and the price!
  2. I see one of the lenses is a a 24-50 mm f2.8. An interesting choice, but I wonder how much smaller / lighter this is than the 24-70 mm f2.8 lens. Personally, I like the Canon approach which is a 24-105 mm f2.8, but that is just my opinion and what makes sense to me.
