Tamron 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD for RF Now Official

Back in June, Tamron announced the development of an RF version of the 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD superzoom lens for APS-C sensors. Tamron has officially launched the new lens and it is available for preorder. The Canon RF mount version of the lens will begin shipping towards the end of Septembmer.

At $629, it looks like this will be a great value lens for the shooters that like one and done for most of their work.

The 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD from Tamron is a versatile superzoom ideal for photographers who want an all-rounder that covers virtually any shooting situation. A fast and precise autofocus mechanism, Tamron's VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor, provides it with some of the best performance in its class, and it's aided by the proprietary Vibration Compensation system that supports stable photography even at ultra-telephoto focal lengths.

18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD (Model B061) is an all-in-one zoom lens for APS-C mirrorless interchangeable-lens cameras. It was the world’s first³ lens to achieve a zoom ratio of 16.6x when it was released in 2021 for the Sony E and the FUJIFILM X mounts.
