Venus Optics will be announcing the Laowa 12mm f/2.8 “distortion free” lens on July 30 via Kickstarter. They're claiming this to be the worlds widest f/2.8 lens.

Keith over at Northlight Images has had the pleasure of using the lens and had this to say about it.

Very nice for a fully manual lens – by the time you're at f5.6/8 it pushes the 11-24. Very straight lines – that's the ‘Zero-D' name

Keith has completed a lengthy review of the Laowa 12mm f/2.8 and is available on the forum to answer any questions you may have about the lens. It looks like Venus Optics has a winner on their hands if they can get it to market.
