We have confirmed that a mirrorless camera will be announced next month ahead of CP+ show which begins on March 1, 2018.

While we cannot confirm the “EOS M50” moniker is the camera coming next month, that's the logical assumption based on past information.

We're told by a completely unknown source that the next mirrorless camera will shoot 4K video. I was wondering what could possibly differentiate another APS-C mirrorless shooter from the current offerings, and this is certainly one way to do so.

I urge you to take this as a [CR1] rumor until we can confirm some specifications for the upcoming new mirrorless camera.
