I hope it will be 4:2:2 YUV 10bit/12bit output support, or/and  CinemaDNG output support for currently selling models. That RAW DNG ML firmware makes Canon looking really bad.

With firmware 2.0.3, 7D cannot register focus points anymore

I have found an issue with this 7D firmware version 2.0.3, that I am no longer able to register focus points. I hope that Canon will solve this major issue.

What Canon really need to do is put out a 4x3 APS-C 7D with 24mp, utilizing 1DX grade accuracy focus system and 1DX grade image quality. The current 7D's 3 x 2 image ratio is a really pain in the axx to use sometimes.

46mp with 16bit ADC? I can see that Cannot is working with Malcodesoft to trash all current computers.

Though I am not going to change camera in a few years, there is no harm to imagine:

1) 24mp is a must. Hopefully offered identical pixel performance as the D3X
2) Android 4.x with wifi
3) metal grade plastic outfit with metal skeleton
4) no built-in flash
5) better hand-tuned color balance than 7D(the current one is way too cold in color temperature)
6) announce at 2015

For now, I do think Canon needs to announce some HP pancakes like 20/2.8, 24/2.8, 35/2.8

Honestly, I do think that these features offered by ML are supposed to be offered by Canon instead.

1) in flash menu, auto detecting lense length doesn't work, like 50mm lense suppose to let my 580ex zoom to 85mm, but it didn't happen, the flash stayed at 50mm
2) my 50L, are completely two lenses when in low light and in ourdoor ambient light, in low light I have to add +10 in microadjust lense shift, in good light there is no problem.
3) 7D might not be able to focus objects over 25 meters, but I don't have longer lense, for in 50L's f/1.2, all that is over 25meters might be in hyperfocal distance so I really couldnt tell, but my two 50/1.8 lenses couldn't focus over that distance, and that occurs 100%.
