the M that is... the fuji is awesome...
Fuji is awesome but you need another set of lens. I'd wait for the next M. The fact that it can use my other Canon lenses is already a big +. I don't have any wish to spend more on other lenses except those I can use with my SLR. Also the cost of maintaining 2 different systems is way, way expensive for me to handle. For me, the M is a perfect backup camera and as a light camera when you need one. E.g., I carry my G11 when we go out for weekends and when I want to travel light. It's still usable until ISO 800 for internet purposes. With the M, I think it can do almost everything that my SLR can do and that's a good thing.
I like the red but the hump is pretty fugly.
I agree they need to fix the AF before anything else. There was a rumor on canonwatch with firmware update hopefully that comes true.
I was looking at the nex 6 as an option but the image quality is not up to par so will wait for other options.
For those asking for full frame it's not happening any time soon and if it does than I'd expect a minimum of 3499 and a non EF mount due to the flange distance is not suitable for anything remotely compact. I'm sure an EF adapter would be possible but pretty much the best you are looking at is Leica M9 @ $4000 with autofocus and a new lens lineup that is not EF compatible and at canon L prices.
I'd much rather see something comparative with the fuji xe-1 which has pretty much the best aps-c sensor

What are they waiting for? I DO NOT wish to mount my EF 24-70 or 70-200 on that tiny thing - what's is the point buying mirrorless
Don't worry, just because you're uninterested due to the high price, doesn't mean there aren't plenty of people excited about this lens. Granted, I'm not one of them, either, but that's because 560mm f/5.6 is not nearly as useful to me as 840mm f/5.6 (or 1200mm f/8 with AF).<li>Pricing: somewhere around $11000.</li>Yawn....

The last thing that got me really excited was the 200-400 1.4TC lens which I would like to own someday.
wow. 50 1.2 is'nt old and works great, 16-35 II is already out and is also a great lens, 35 1.4L is also a good lens, 85 1.2 II is great. Wifi/GPS in a pro body? everybody complains about them in the 6D, but yeah i think that would be nice. I'd say canon is still top with the video quality.

So IS becoming standard on even short-focal length primes as well as the new 24-70 standard zoom is not listening to customers??
