Technical Support / DIY sensor cleaning - what to buy.

I lucked out for over a year but now my camera needs needs internal cleaning.
•What would be basic supplies to get me by?
•What should I consider if I can spend more?
•What else am I forgetting?

Software & Accessories / lightning trigger app - any good? No reviews....

I'm once again debating on getting a lightning trigger.  While looking at these triggers http://www.lightningtrigger.com/ I saw they also link to an amazon app http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008K50SL8 that claimes to be effective. Thing is nobody seems to have tried it thus far so no reviews. 
I imagine hardware wise a smart phone could be effective though I can think of some disadvantages also.

 Anyways I don't wanna give away money to a app that's totally bogus and be a sucker. 
 So the question is does anybody have any idea if this is worth playing with?

 I would think that would be kinda irritating to some of the nikon folks. Off to the side it would be like whatever - plastered right at the top big and bold though -----  well its kinda a bit in your face.

darn dagnabbit son of a gun pete's sake crimini!
 I'm home alone and I'm so pissed.....

 I just ran across a one day sale at adorama for sandisk memory cards. I know it was a sweet deal because I keep my eyes open for them.
 
Long story short - because of the new york and indiana time differential the stinkin sale ended as I selected my shipping.

 So blink blink blink blink why is my cart over 130.00 dollars more expensive suddenly ...

 I only needed 10 seconds 10 seconds just 10 more seconds!
 


 Oh cruel cruel world.
               
Well perhaps it's better that nobody's around to hear my ranting and raving. 

 Does this help me feel better? Hmm I don't know -  yeah maybe a little.

Lenses / EF 40 f/2.8 Pancake so whats the deal

Since I 1st read this was slated for release I keep wondering as to its purposes. It seems like a very odd duck. Primes like the 28 mm are all ready fairly small. I'm thinking it would be even a bit odd on the rebel body. Perhaps I'm missing something?

Third Party Manufacturers / Sigma 17-50 2.8

After several hours shooting I am thinking I have a good copy.
Based on many reviews the lens often had certain issues such as poor QC.
Perhaps all issues have been hammered out. If so with the current rebate perhaps this is a good value alternative to Canon.

Did I just luck out or has there been overall improvement?
