My image posts suddenly looks stamp size, whereas the Flikr-posts appear normal. Does anyone know why?
I think they upgraded the forum software yesterday - and this only seems to affect images uploaded directly to CR.  If you click on the photo, it expands to full size.
Hope this is not permanent thing. The previous layout is way better.

I prefer the previous one too

I have 27" monitor and I can't even see my own photos. Hope the admins will switch back.

How about getting a 2nd slightly smaller monitor to address this issue?  ;)

Far as I can tell, everyone's name is still the same color RED so we're all still equal on a pretty fundamental level, eh?   ;)

Except for the Black Sheep who have left the group without removing their posts.  Their name is colored Black. ;)

Hi Mt Spokane Photography,

Look forward  to seeing you becoming the 2nd CR Geek.

 :D

I think the bar will be raised before that ;)

I wonder what you have up your sleeve?

Thanks rpt northstar and jarrieta

Setting: 1/400 f/8.0 800mm ISO 160 EOS 1D IV

It is actually my mother's grandmother who passed away in the mid-90s so I met her in my teens. Lovely lady, cemented me on my place in the world and gave me a context on who I am.

Thanks :)

Provided weight is a concern I'd take the 5D III, 24-105 and the nifty fifty.

Also, above, plus if you think you'll need longer reach and have funds available, consider getting a 70-200 f4 IS (that can be sold when you get back)

Abstract / Re: best missed shots
« on: August 07, 2014, 03:01:40 AM »

I came to my senses too late and shot an extremely blurry out of focus pic...  it haunts me! :(

Hi adhocphotographer,

I recently met the said bear (we are in the same theropy group) - he is equally haunted by the miss.

He worked on that act for the last two hibernation seasons only for it to work too well and scare the sh*t out the tourists.

Now, whenever he sees any photographers, he just marks his territory in full view, sighs and walks away.

Regards

Winnie the poo(h).

 ;)

oh dear, EOS M2. Is that a bad sign given I've never even seen the camera for sale anywhere?

Keep posting to leave M2 behind  ;)

Took a couple of hours chasing small, flying creatures around my cabin today. This is a female Scarce Copper (Lycaena virgaureae) (I believe  ::))

100mm f2.8L IS Macro

Lovely shot Eldar :)
