Third Party Manufacturers / Re: Samsung NX-1 Review

There are other reports for the Continuous AF saying that it's not a keeper. Moving car in your direction is NOT ultimate AF test.
No charger for camera at that price is ridiculous. I was exited about NX1, but now I'm not that much.

Canon EF-S and EF-M Lenses / Re: EF-M 55-200mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM

dcm,

Thank you for the images from the mountains. It's not that good for me, I'm still waiting for some great small prime like 135 2.8.

EOS-M / Re: Rokinon 12/2.0 or 11-22mm zoom?
« on: November 02, 2014, 04:49:22 AM »
11-22 is much better for shot 'n run - you have IS, autofocus, 11 and 12mm on F4 and zoom if needed.

12 2.0 is better for artistic wide shooting (no AF) and stars.

Yes, but he is trying to convince the audience that things like WiFi are dedicated to mirrorless and Sony.

Hello, I have WiFi in my 70D, better servo focus and much better ergonomics with lenses bigger than a coffee mug.

And the state that A6000 is so cheap... Why didn't he said anything about the lenses like 10-18 F4 for 850$?
The only few good reasonable priced Sony primes for crop are between 20 and 50mm(16 2.8 is NOT good for me).

P.S. I want interchangeable system for ultra-wide, very fast primes and good telephotos. Otherwise RX100 is totally enough.

Yeah right... I love people who shoot within the range 24 - 85mm to tell me how camera with NO dedicated small, reasonably bright primes over 55mm is great for all.

EOS Bodies - For Stills / Re: Whats wrong with the 70 D ?

Focus issues with central focus point.

Canon deny about this problem, but serviced mine and now it's better. My old 60D focus was more reliable...

I'm sorry, I don't understand your point.  If Canon serviced your camera, which apparently had an AF problem, how could they be denying that it had an AF problem?

The CPS Europe said that they don't know about the common issue with central focus point on 70D. Then I sent the camera to my local service.

So... I'm not happy when even Canon "Professional" Services are hiding something like that. We have to believe that they don't have internet and thousands of returned 70D bodies for focus fixing...

Lenses / Re: 70-200 2.8 II or 100 2.8L and 135 2 and 200 2.8

Depends on your type of shooting...

I have a friend with 7D 100L and 70-200 2.8L IS II. He is enjoying the macro and he is using it much more than the 70-200.
If you are shooting macro you can also check Sigma 105 2.8 OS macro (I'm very happy with it and even have some advantages over 100L) and Tamron 90 2.8 VC macro. I had 200 2.8L and I liked it, but I needed longer lens for birds.

IMO 70-200 2.8 is too heavy and does not have good range on crop. Very cheap and light option which you can give a try is old Sigma 50-150 2.8.

Am I the only one who look at the last shadow from the picture... This shadow don't look like the shape of the RX10/FZ1000

Well, there is another option for football that I'm using - Sigma 100-300 F4 - lighter, cheaper, good quality and focus. Here are some examples (click for larger):

For basketball maybe some closer zoom :)

I would have bought this one if it was the same price in Europe.

You have AF and picture quality on 5D Mark III - I would go for articulated screen, smaller body and wifi remote control on 70D.
