TIPA is a mystery
I have a good friend who has been a member of the TIPA jury for many years, their have their meetings and vote for equipments they have not tried or seen .
Quote from: Sony RumorsThe RX200 will have an improved 28-140mm f/1.4-2.2 lens (compared to the current 29-105mm f/1.8-4.9)
If true, 140mm f/2.2 means a substantially bigger lens assembly, meaning the RX-200 would lose the current form factor - one big reason for its popularity. I'm very tempted by the RX-100, but if the successor won't fit in a jeans pocket like the current model, no interest from me.
Photography is like a conversation with someone who lets me ask lots of questions. But I usually only get a good answer when I ask a good question.
I think most of the DSLR innovation is now done.
roblem is, Canon is driven by product differentiation, max. profit (lowest cost & highest prices) and they are so conservative they probably don't think about real innovations, even not with a cpu as fast as their digic5 (or 6).
What's the point of this camera, just because they cannot release anything competitive in the mirrorless market, so they reduce the size and the weight of their dslr??Actually, I had a mirrorless camera for a while (olympus) and found myself disliking the interface and lack of viewfinder so much that I got a 1000D for the smaller form and ability to use the lenses which weren on my 7D for all the occasions where you want to have a good camera with you, but can't be bothered to drag around the larger model. Let's face it, something which would fit in a coat pocket with the 40mm pancake without having to buy new lenses sounds very nice as a carry-everywhere body. I definitely see meself getting one of these.
700D is out
can please somebody tell me whats the major difference from 650D ?
oh yes! creative filters on LIVE shooting.. WOW i'm blown away!!! i think i run into a toy company and not some serious one canon used to be.
Can't you see the major difference is one called 650D, the other is called 700D.
But based on the specs, it should be called 651D
