obviously the 24-70II wins hands down...

been using 24-105 IS for some time before making a switch... miss the extra range on the latter but well compensated with the quality 24-70II provides

Eventhough there r times i missed my 24-105 focal length... I still believe 24-70II is the lens to get despite its high price

Go n get the genuine ones... N never look back

I've tried this, but how do you parallel park?

Back when 5D II batteries were $100+ and 3rd party batteries (who is the 2nd party?) were terrible, I bought a 7D for 3 reasons.  Back-up body, Sports body, AND 2nd factory battery with factory charger.  3 years later, the 5D2 has been replaced with a 5D3, but I have never run out of battery. How does this help you?  I don't know.

oh ok... looking back not a sin

just grab the original ones for something u have invested heavily or may be just me

Lenses / Re: X-mas: 16-35mm 2.8 ii vs. canon 50mm 1.2
« on: November 18, 2012, 12:25:30 PM »
The reason why i gave up 16-35 bcoz of its distortion amnd i believed it was meant for landscape

And the excuse why i moved on frm 50 1.2 bcoz of its range on FF aint just as good as the 35 for wider or 85 for portraits :)

« on: November 06, 2012, 11:24:48 AM »
I didnt wait and get myself 35L n couldnt be happier since...

Now... Should i get the 24-70II in place for my 24-105?

Optically speaking, 24-105 aint great but the extra length that puts me still

With the retra range, i'd stick with my 24-105 IS for sure
