EOS Bodies / Re: Canon Cannot Keep Screwing It's Customers Over
« on: January 04, 2013, 02:43:07 PM »
For those of you who like to flame posts instead of to try and understand; this is exactly what the OP is talking about :

Roger Cicala from has posted his first resolution tests of the Canon EF 24-70 f/4L IS.

Part of Roger’s Conclusion

“Obviously this hasn’t told us a thing about autofocus accuracy, bokeh, or a dozen other things that have to be considered when choosing a lens. Just like you, I’ll be waiting for more complete reviews to tell us about that.

On the basis of this information, though, I’m . . . well, I don’t know what I am. This is a good lens, but I at the price point I’d probably prefer the f/2.8 of the Tamron VC to the new Canon’s f/4. The macro feature is nice and will certainly pull some people towards the Canon.”

Roger also notes that there was quite a bit of variation at 70mm between the 22 copies they tested.

The word "fanboy" just doesn't cut it anymore...
This forum is getting dumber and dumber every day...

I'd rather have them work better AF instead of an EVF...

Can you tell a bit about the post workflow of #10?

EOS Bodies / Re: DxOMark Sensor Performance: Nikon vs. Canon
« on: October 16, 2012, 01:37:06 PM »
It's very retarded to deny the difference between the two cameras. Even if I was a Canon shareholder and someone from Nikon's board of directors murdered my whole family, I wouldn't try to justify recent Canon sensors.

I've been shooting with Canon since '96. You too? Great, enjoy, but there's no need to do injustice to Nikon.

@Mikael Risedal : Why do you write in all bold?

EOS Bodies / Re: Canon EOS 3D at 46.1mp Next Month? [CR1]

It's been a while since I saw a CR3 rating at a rumor and this is no different...
Yeah, a big MP camera is coming soon... It doesn't take a genius to predict that!

EOS Bodies - For Stills / Re: A positive feedback for 6D

I bet what I've played with at Photokina wasn't even a "real" 6D!
Just a random prototype with a super-glued card slot and a 6D sticker...

Unfortunately for me; I'm not surprised even a bit...
Fortunately for Canon, there are so many fanboys who won't get anything out of this video...

Something tells me the 6D won't be available in December....

EOS Bodies - For Stills / Re: EOS 6D sample images and video here
« on: September 17, 2012, 07:22:36 AM »
certainly a "mere coincidence" that ISO100-400 sample pics are available, while ISO800 and above are only "coming soon".

Seeing this, I take it for granted, that the "new" 6D sensor also sucks, at least compared to Nikon/Sony. Probably no improvement at all in DR, noise, banding compared to 5D 2 and 3.

You didn't expect anything exciting, did you?

EOS Bodies / Re: 6D or 5D Mk II

So Ricku, can you please elaborate on that? What makes you draw to that conclusion? Specs only?

Nicku, next thing for you now is to abandon this forum and go to the Nikon forum instead then.

So, now this forum is only for Canon-loving fanboys, eh?

EOS Bodies / Re: Adorama is selling 5d3 for $2745 on eBay now

I refuse to believe it. That camera is worth every penny of that $3499 price tag, and it must be flying off the shelves. No amount of evidence will convince me of the contrary.

Thank you for the good laugh!

Show me a reputable and authorized Canon dealer selling unopened USA warranty models below $3400.   If its too good to be true then there is something fishy.

EOS Bodies / Re: Canon EOS 6D Specs Leaked?

What are you smoking? My 7D cost 1000 euros, the D800 is nearly 3x that price where I live! That's a higher cost in everybody's language - the language of numbers

Marlboro Lights, why?

7D & D800 are in different leagues, please be rational...
