The iPhone has the FOV of a 35mm. Seems to work for everyone.

How do you remove the focus rectangle in video mode? It's always there, even when I'm recording.

Canon General / Re: Record Spending Into Camera Gear - HIGHEST

Uh oh, this year I upgraded to my 5D3 (from 2) and bought every lens I own (sold a couple).

Does anyone buy the $1500 Nikon 14mm prime?

The question is, is the 14-24 gonna be good enough to make the 14mm prime obsolete? Or will Canon purposely make it lesser to prevent this?

14-24 L

There seems to always be a longish buffer time after I take a 30 second or longer exposure with my 5D3. Is that because of NR? I don't remember it taking this long with my 5D2....

Really interested to see how the 14-24 performs in terms of distortion on the 24mm end compared to the new 24-70.

I'm shooting on a 5D3.

I get that for a timelapse eventually the footage will be 1080p, which is way lower quality than jpg. I guess a better question would be, is it worth it to shoot in RAW, then edit the photos (edit one and apply to the rest) and then convert to jpg?

For timelapses. Discuss. Does it depend on how far apart your intervals are so the camera has enough buffer time, etc?

The real question is, do I wait for the new 85 1.8 IS, or buy the 85L?
