Format Exporting From Lightroom
« on: October 26, 2012, 03:38:58 PM »
I shoot RAW and edit in post, I sometimes make prints but I am going to start making a lot more, I have always exported my files as JPEGS, should I be exporting them as TIF files instead?  Memory does not really matter to me, I just need the highest quality.

Do you print them yourself or send to lab? If lab thehack check with them as to what format they prefer?

Also, I hope your monitor is calibrated otherwise what you see on screen may not be what prints will like.

To answer your question, I export in jpeg without any issues.

Cheers.
