Thanks Carl. Just recently, I've been asked to cover the concert/school graduation of my daughter (though my daughter is just one of the performers). Here are some shots from it. Low-light, moving kids, lots of shadows... Still no problem with my 6D. It's a real high-ISO performer.
Nice color in these images. The 6D works just fine for event work, particularly when paired with a faster focusing lens.
This shot was taken with the 6D/Tamron 24-70 VC combo that I use a LOT while traveling. Nice thing about the Tamron is that I shot this at 70mm and 1/13th of a second. I don't fear doing that at all with a static subject. It's VC is great! This is a door that caught my eye leaving the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and heading out into the Arab Quarter.
