Hello Everyone,

I have been looking into getting a 7D for the past week and all of the sudden the price when up today. It was $1199 on Adorama and Amazon, but it is now $1419.

Any ideas what happened?

Rich, if you are willing to buy refurbished, you can get a 7D via the Canon Loyalty Program for less.  Also, if you are in the USA, there are a lot of used 7Ds available via Craigslist -- once the 5D3 came out, they have popped up a lot in my local area.

Canon will have 20% off on their refurbs starting this Sunday, so thats another place to check.  The Adorama deal may be better though.

Thanks, that was very helpful of you. Hopefully I'd be able to snag a 24mm.
By the way, I was just talking to CLP- they have the 5DIII in- but only 10% off of the refurbished price.
