WOW!!!  Fantastic!!

D@mn...I have about the same equipment, a 5D3, rode mic...etc, but I can't seem to get anywhere as close to a good look as you get here!!  Very cinematic looking...

What do you use for lighting? What lenses did you use? What did you use for color grading? Editing?

Did you grade for more 'blue' cooler look, or was a lot of that caught in camera?

Can you go into details of your shoot, workflow for editing/grading?

Again, VERY impressive!!  Any details on your shoot and work greatly appreciated by those of us learning!!!

TIA,

cayenne

Thanks! I lit the interview with a cheap softbox to camera left and portable LED light with a blue gel to camera right and behind the subject. For the interview I shot the wide, medium, and close up with Canon lenses: 24mm 1.4, 50mm 1.4, and 135mm 2.0 respectively. I also used a 35mm 2.o and 90mm 2.8 macro on the B-roll. I did some minor colour grading with the built in color correction tools in Premiere Pro. I shot it with VsionColor's CineLook picture profile, which is designed to not really need grading, but I did up the blacks and saturation somewhat. I also shifted the mids toward orange and pulled the blacks down into the blues a bit. I'm pretty happy with the way CineLook turns out straight from the camera though. Hope that helps!

Thanks! I use this tripod:

And mounted on that is a Glidetrack hybrid slider
