iPad app Model Release
« on: August 25, 2014, 08:31:18 PM »
There seem to be dozens of iPad apps for model release. Has anyone used these, and if so which one works best? Something I couldn't quite grasp is how people sign them. How is this handled? I would be needing an app where you can create custom content, preferably to include branding.

Has anyone heard whether these digital versions of model releases have been challenged in court?

The very few times I use model releases, I use paper ones.

My concern is that, at least for me, signing on a tablet looks different than my signature on paper.  I don't know if that would make any difference in court.

I wonder if one could just video record the model reading the release wording and stating on video that they agree to it?  :)
