Tamron 17-50mm VC B005 vs B005E revisions?
« on: February 09, 2012, 10:43:28 PM »
Hey all, I'm browsing a bit trying to find good prices on the Tamron 17-50mm VC, and I find that even though Tamron only states this lens as the B005, there are a few stores that have a B005E revision.

Does anyone know the difference? Is this a revision from the "Tamron lens Phenomenon" with the cross-type AF sensors?

Cheers

I don't remember where I saw it but the Model is B005 but the part numbers are something like B005E and B005C depending upon the mount on the lens.
Canon XTi, AE-1 Program, Rebel II, Tamron 17-50 VC, Zenitar-M 50/1.7 and a bunch of other cheap lenses (50/1.8FD, 18-55 EF-S Kit, 35-70 Kit, 80-200 4.5-5.6). S100 classic.
