Edward... I've got pork ribs on the grill tonight...I'm "Fleming" right now as I stand over the grill!!  Come shoot me, tongue is "wagging!"   Dusty is nearby to "clean up"!

Hi Northstar, The Ribs sound great and I've been known to "Flem" myself at a good BBQ, but I don't know about "Dusty the Red Haired Snake Killer", can we trust him not to rip the Snaggers off the BBQ ?? then drink all the Beer ??

Edward,  Love this image, great expression and composition of one of my favorite animals.  You polar bear images are fabulous as well.

We could rename this post as the Gary, Lemmy Shoyu, bornshooter and eml58 show.  Not to neglect all the other great images other people have posted on the site, they just come to mind.  Great images by all.

Thanks Elder, I think there's a lot of People that Post on CR that could do as well, in many respects better, my advantage is perhaps opportunity, to be able to get to the places where these Animals are is a real privilege.

But your kind words are appreciated.

Your right, it's to easy to be looking through that viewfinder & forget just how close, and how quick, these big Cats can move, especially when they have Cubs about.

I appreciate the humble attitude, but I have shot enough animal pictures in my time to say that the average quality of those you have posted is very very high. They are a true inspiration. The only problem I see now, is that I decided to sell the 400mm f2.8L IS II, to keep the 600mm f4L IS II. Seeing what you´re using, it might be that I should have kept it ;)

Well, you & me both, I did in fact sell my 400f/2.8 II after I had bought the 200-400f/4, I decided I would keep the 600f/4 II & the 300f/2.8 II along with the 200-400f/4, time will tell if that was a mistake.
