Someone was seriously done waiting for the children's parade. Lol, it's kind of describing to how we all feel after waiting in line for an ice cream and coffee, or to take a ride at the amusement parks. We had some fun also though.

Well captured Viggo :)

Great Crested Grebe, with her 2 day old chicks. There are very few birds I know of, where the difference in appearance between adult and chick is so big as with these. If H.C. Anderson had seen this bird before he wrote The Ugly Duckling, he would have used the Grebe instead of the Swan ;)

From a RAW. Not real crazy with the skin tones from RAW. JPG's were solid.

Thanks Northstar. We are fortunate to have them in a lake in Oslo.

And yes Edward, this lens is still great with the 1.4xIII extender. Actually with both extenders. Only reason I don´t use the 2xIII more is due to the restrictions on AF. Only center point is a bit too limiting for me.

I posted this on the bird portrait thread, but it probably deserves some extra publicity. This is a 2 day old Grebe, learning how to eat fish ;)
