WVIL Concept Camera

I saw this on another blog and wanted to share it with you.  It's quite futuristic and stands for Wireless Viewfinder Interchangeable Lens.  The system lets you separate the point of view from the point of control.  It's pretty ingenious, imo.

I agree. It would be cool to be able to line up or strategically place several lenses and then scroll between lenses. The next piece of equipment would have to be a PTZ mount for each lens.

wireless strobes would make that a complete, fun system too.  Can you imagine the possibilities?   ;D

It has a few problems to conquer first, such as ability to remotely adjust any controls that are normally found on the lens, such as focus and zoom.
