Personally I love the M system
I have picked up all the lenses plus a few duplicates and currently have 9 bodies - missing the M200, M50Ii & M6 - confident I’ll get these before the year is out.
I don’t have the slightest desire to buy any of the R’s. The physical size and weight of the lenses means I would always favour the diminutive M system for days out
I still have all my flappers and EF lenses. They rarely see use but I’m keeping hold.
Canon really should have released a M7 in keeping with the 7/7Dii heritage. I would have paid silly money for such a beast.
Using the tiny M stuff is so liberating and yet still able to deliver great photos.
