My :love: is for the Owlet! Heron is nice, very good photo but the owlet made me smile! Thank you!

Right now, I'm just hoping that all the young birds won't die from freezing.
The temps dropped from 24°C down to 5°C, with some frosts in the night.
Down feathers might help...

First photo I posted some time ago (February 10) and look how that little guy looks today! Well, it's little tired after a fly to the ocean and parents are still coming with fish (sometimes waiting for the young to come back from it's trips to serve him/her that fish!) but very soon it will be absolutely self-sustaining!

Thanks for the follow-up. :) Very nice series, ISv.
The follow-up can't be easier: that bird is ~6-7 meters from the entrance of the Research building of the UH Medical School. I'm passing there several times per day and we already have a net of informers (mostly students but by far not only - even some guys from the security got involved:LOL:) that is shadowing every step/fly of the "our bird". I would say it's a great option to release the pressure from the job?!
