One of the best lenses I've ever used. The lack of telescoping zoom makes for an incredibly smooth zoom mechanism. I wish the foot collar were fully removable, though.

I wholeheartedly agree. The versatility of this lens is staggering, and the build quality is exceptional. Really nice zoom mechanism, and my only complaint is that the collar itself can't be removed (only the foot). I wish I could buy cap for the foot connector.

I was thinking about how to 3D print one and it's a bit beyond my CAD modeling abilities. I'd certainly print one in TPU if someone could figure out a good design.
