We're told that Sigma is aiming to announce a 24-70mm f/2.8 OS Art series lens ahead of CP+ in Yokohama, Japan, which starts on February 23, 2017.

We've seen one patent for a new Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 back in March of 2016.

We're also told that Sigma hopes to have the lens at retailers before the summer and that the announcement could be pushed until after CP+ if they can't meet that target.
