This coming week, Canon is going to be announcing two new lenses. The RF 14mm f1.4L VCM and the RF 7-14mm f/2.8-3.5 Fisheye zoom. The L prime we've known about for a while, but the new fisheye zoom is news to us. Surprises are a good thing.
RF 7-14mm f/2.8-3.5 Fisheye Zoom
During the days of EF, we had the EF 8-15mm f/4L USM, which was a lot of fun. It was a circular fisheye at 8mm on a full-frame camera and a “standard” fisheye on APS-C sensor cameras. The new RF version will likely operate the same way.
At 7mm it will be a circular fisheye, and at 14mm it will be a standard wide-angle field of view.
What I cannot confirm at the moment is if it's an L lens, which I would think it is, I can't see another fisheye zoom coming for the RF mount. I can't confirm the type of focus motor either. I don't think it would need to be a USM lens and it's more likely STM like the RF 10-20 f/4L STM, or maybe this is the first VCM zoom lens that we were told was coming.

Canon has two very niche fisheye prime lenses in their lineup with the RF-S 3.9mm f/3.5 STM and RF 5.2mm f/2.8L. Both of these dual lens fisheyes are intended for VR production more than anything else.
With the official announcement slated for February 4, 2026, we won't have long to wait for all the details.
Pricing should be interesting. If it's an L, it could be quite expensive. The EF 8-15mm f/4L USM launched at around $1500 and retails for $1299 today. The RF 10-20mm f/4L STM is currently $2399 USD.
More to Come
There will be one more camera product launched alongside the two afformentioned lenses, but it won't be the EOS R7 Mark II, and we're also waiting to see if the dream of an EOS R3 Mark II will come to fruition with a development announcent.
The new camera will not be EOS R related.
