Photography Bay has posted that one of their sources has said Canon will announce something that has to do with a “bigger sensor than 35mm” for Photokina.
I'm not sure we'll see a product, but it's possible we see a technology demo or a development announcement.
There's a fair bit of medium format talk going on with all the manufacturers, but we still don't seem to have the smoking gun.
