I think that’s the rumored 3D cam with battery pack. Surely looks bigger and more pro than the 5Dmk2.
apparently it has a lower lcd screen so it’s not a battery grip.

Haven’t you all realised, Bas is right… Canon is advertising the new Micrini! The Micrini finally answers what we’ve always wanted from a small car -pocketability (albeit in a very large pocket -kinda like the GF1).
yeah, the camera on the roof is actually the key-fob, the actual carkey is partially hidden behind the micrini, you can still see a grey bit with the light that blinks when you open the doors
Sorry, that’s just a 1D Mark IV… It will be replaced on the top of the mini by the 1Ds very soon. Also – note the corner cams on the mini’s hairline. They also have a rebel mockup, but primarily will be mounting the 1Ds upon release. Look closely at the lens (hint).

Hey, an iPhone comes with a camera, why not your car? You avoid the red eye look since you don’t need to use a pop-up flash – you have 580EX headlights. 680ex Fog lamps sold separately.
The Handling on that new body looks great, bet it corners well. Though the IS might start to struggle at speed ;-)
The only thing I want to know is: Where is the 60D?
When I zoomed the the picture (http://tweetphoto.com/11469644 – click zoom) I noticed the similarity to 5D MKII/7D/1D series, but on the rear doors of the Mini there is a Digital Rebel T1i. Is it really possible, that there is a new xD body painted on the car?

Well the prism looks bigger to me, is anybody certain that is a D and not a Ds? Look at where the viewfinder goes into the prism, there is no edge, there is on a D.
The lens looks like a new 300 f2.8 or a DO something. The rubber is wrong for the current 300 or 200 and the tripod mounting ring has the 200 f2 type release knob not the current other L teles.
That’s so obviously a 400mm f/2.8L IS…..

Well that’s the smallest front element on 400 2.8 in the world then. Look at the pegs under the hood to make it level, that is the same size as my 300 f2.8, the 400 f2.8 hangs below the body and you would need pegs on the body to make it level.
Yeah mkln is right, he means by an external battery grip.

I’ve seen at least 5 of these minis in the last 3 days (some with Ontario plate and some with BC plate)
Everytime I saw these cars, I was like…. “okay I’m so gonna break into these cars and see if there is the rumoured 1Ds Mk4 in these Minis!!” (Just kidding… I wont do any illegal stuff!)

I hear its the new 3D with an all new motor with incredible frames per second – I heard it goes from 0-60 in 4 seconds.
Nevermind the camera; I want to know what they are planning on using to clean the bugs off the lens. Should work a treat on the odd spot dust or rain drop! :)
There are at least 11 of these around town. The stickers on each one advertise a different camera (well, there must be some duplication since I don’t think Canon has 11 current DSLR bodies).
Maybe the black SUVs with blacked out windows I’ve been seeing all over Vancouver are actually for the new top secret body.

the image o the camera lcd is one of the official 1dmkIV samples from the canon europe site. But the viewfinder does look suspiciously FF to me
Those are mockups, and larger than the actual scale of the product(s).
