Canon is announcing two lenses and a limited edition PowerShot camera tonight. The time of the announcement is a bit odd at 11:00PM EST (New York). You can do the math for your timezone.
I also have a correction on pricing for the RF 7-14mm f/2.8-3.5L STM Fisheye, it is going to be $1899 USD and not $1599 like I have reported. My source appologizes a thousand times over. These things happen, all of the Euro pricing is good. I have corrected the original post.
I guess I should have noticed the odd descrepency between the € and $ pricing. So here is a picture of the upcoming RF 7-14mm F2.8-3.5L STM Fisheye Zoom
Canon Announcement Recap
- Canon RF 14mm F1.4L VCM $2599 USD / €2539
- Canon RF 7-14mm F2.8-3.5L STM $1899 USD / €1829
- Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III $1299 / (Only One Chain Will Sell It in Europe)

The “Development Announcement” of the EOS R3 Mark II?
I'd be shocked, I just can't see the point of such a camera unless it's a complete departure from the current EOS R3. I can only remember two development announcements that were ever known beforehand, and those were the EF 200-400mm f/4L IS USM 1.4x and EOS R1. I think the R1 had more to do with the EOS R5 Mark II announcement and a lot of photographers already had the camera.
Some people have pointed out that these announcements don't fit with the upcoming Olympic games, as Canon tends to announce gear that is more focused on sports, but maybe that won't happen until the World Cup in June.

Not sure how this one could tempt me...
This means what?
EDIT: Maybe just the "limited edition PowerShot G7 X Mark III" mentioned in another post?
EOS M ? 😊
I actually thought of you and one of the snowboarding guys
Shock 🤬
It's been EIGHT years since the launch of the first R camera and there are still zero Canon tilt-shift lenses.
We now have
Is there really a dire need and huge demand for 2 more ultra-wide angle lenese?
Now we just need the RF Tilt-Shift and i’ finally have zero EF lenses!
