Canon has released a minor firmware update for the Canon EOS R10.

Canon EOS R10 v.1.3.0

  1. Compatible with Speedlite EL-5. *The automatic dimming function of the AF-assist light is not supported.
  2. Added support for RF-S55-210mm F5-7.1 IS STM.
  3. Fixed minor bugs.

  1. I\'m very interested whatever it catch also some AF improvements, as the behavior of the camera is rather strange, able to accurately track super fast forthcoming object, while other time struggle to lock on static human face in decent light.
  2. I know not many will use an RF-S 55-210mm F5-7.1 IS STM on the full frame R bodies, but will they also get the update to support this lens? At this stage what would happen if you tried to use that lens on an RP, yes I am aware it will be cropped x1.6 but would the lens still work without the firmware update?
