They're Coming
I've been told that we'll be seeing Canon USA rebates starting March 7, 2010.
I have yet to see any official announcement or document yet.

There’s already rebates on Canoga Camera and B&H. Look for the 5D MkII with lens and printer. Also some for the 1DsIII at B&H if I recall correctly.
There were a couple I’ve seen… $200 for Printer and $500 for printer and DSLR. I hope there’s a camera only one available
Arg… Do these rebates typically apply to newer cameras? I just bought my T2i last week…
Don’t feel bad, I bought a house in between the Government rebate programs. Days away from qualifying for either. Lost $8000.00, could’ve bought me some nice Canon gear with that cash!
I’m guessing this is in response to the current Nikon rebates? If so, I wonder if they’ll be single item only or require a body/lens combination like Nikon’s.
Those rebate have been there for a few months at B&H.
Wonder if I should wait on buying by Canon 7d?
There are always some sort of rebates going on. I’m waiting for the summer lens rebate that usually starts around May 1.

Keep trying, eventually it worked for me.
The rebates are terrible, basically $15 to $130 on expensive primes. Double rebate if you also purchase a 5D II
