So it's not based on the EOS R5 Mark II sensor. What if previous rumor was a misunderstanding and it is actually based on the future EOS R7 Mark II sensor?
That would make it an APS-C camera (Maybe Super-35 video). I think the name "Cinema EOS C50" would maybe make more sense that way? Well, just a thought. We will soon know :)

It's an all-new sensor.

I think a safe assumption is this will be the sensor in the R63

Bro, what are you even talking about? CINED marked it as one of the highest DR camerast to be released right now. SMH.
Dynamic range is not everything. I want fast readout speeds, manageable file sizes, and reliable record times. Something the R5 doesn’t check all the boxes of. My original comment had nothing to do with dynamic range.
