But it's still £450 or about $900 in Australian dollars. I would be dissapointed in the performance and dark maximum aperture for that price.

It’s $400 in USA. Give it a month or two after release and you will see hundreds of grey market online offers for a “white box” brand new lenses sold for around $250 a pop. Always happens with kit lenses meant to be sold with bodies but eventually sold separately as a white label product

The images look better than what comes out of a phone camera, I don't think folks buying this in a kit with a RP will be disappointed.

I don't think anyone that visits this forum is in the target market for this lens.
