German fotomagazin did test RF 70-200mm F2.8L IS USM vs. NIKKOR Z 70–200 mm 1:2,8 VR S in its latest issue 11/2020.

Overal score:
5 of 5 stars for both
optics:
95 vs. 91 of 100
mechanical built:
90 vs. 100 of 100

Optically the RF wins in resolution, vignetting and distortion, esp. wide open up to f/5.6 with only more distortion @70mm.
Mechanically the RF loses some points because of plastic barrel (but it saves weight) smaller focus ring (but it is smaller) and little bit worse flare protection.

Looks cool, the main take I get from the z 70-200 is it doesn't loose any sharpness with the 1.4x and it only looses a wee bit with the 2x. It is quite a versatile thing. The RF does loose the extenders which maybe irrelevant if you have bigger lenses already, and the RF fits in a smaller bag.

For people fotography, it is a pleasure to use. The 1.4x extender is on my whishlist 280mm f3.5 would be interesting..... if it weren´t for this extraordinary price.
(I am scared of the coming RF "big whites" prices if you see the RF-prices for the "normal" whites. A plus of 30-50% can be expected.)
