I would like to see how DXOMark rank RF85 F1.2, etc., on R5, especially comparing to Otus lenses.

R5 + RF 85mm F1.2 is about $6600, close to Leica level expense. Really? Canon is on the same expense level as Leica? And people are cheering? What a joke.

Interested to see how DxOMark rank RF lenses with R5. Will RF lenses beat Otus lenses in DxOMark lens ranking table?

Are you sure R5 has better IBIS? Is that possible? Canon never had IBIS. a7r series bodies have much richer history for that.

R5 is about $400 more than a7rIV. But is R5 more functional than a7rIV? For those who are excited about the video capability, watch this: Looks to me, the fancy video capability like 8k, etc are far from being practical. There is a long way to go in term of R&D before those video capability...

I guess this will be too huge to carry around.

Many years ago, people said same thing to amazon. Now amazon is like a public enemy and will kill all competitors.

Some people even said Model 3 and Model Y are sold below the cost. But watch how Tesla kills competitors. I would think Canon R5 price above $3500 is "more expensive" than Model 3 or Model Y. Because more people are willing to buy Model 3 or Model Y than spending $3500+ on Canon R5, including me.

Remember how Tesla sells Model 3 and Model Y?
