helloi have two questions
1. can i buy these lenses from the netherlands
2.i saw this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsWGkUT5A_Y (18:10)
and i wonderd how the 70-200mm f2.8 is usm (mk1 or mk2) would work on my 650d
1 - no, only US
2 - it would work just fine - been using 70-200 f2.8 ii on my 550d, 70d, 7d2 and now the 1DX.

Canon sells the refurbished lenses to US addresses and credit cards only. The popular lenses are sold out literally in a few minutes, so anyone looking for them needs to be quick. Slow sellers take longer, but all the "L" lenses will probably sell out.

You can often come close, or even buy for less thru discount offers, so check around. There will be no Canon Warranty in the Netherlands, The Canon USA warranty only covers USA and Canada.

Pulled the trigger on the 35 f2. No more renting, and it's almost a 50 on crop. Add a cheapo amazon lens hood, and roughly save 100 only, due to canon taxes and INSANE 16 dollar shipping from UPS ground. Canon are idiots for that.

Wish i had money for another 600rt...ah well.

PS- this is the last time ill try a canon refurb- the last 3 were all busts, horribly broken.

I own several canon refurb lenses and they have all been indistinguishable from brand new. Did you buy these from Canon's store? All the lenses come with a one year warranty

I pulled the trigger and got the 24-70L f/2.8 lens....

I found that Canon was going to charge me sales tax...so, I set up an account and having them ship to "Shipmatica"....a mail service in Oregon that doesn't have sales tax.

It will be like $14 for them to ship to me, but that's better than the nearly $140 or so in sales tax canon was going to charge me to ship directly to me!!
