B&H shipping of the 1DX?

Just got off the phone with B&H to no avail. The word is mum. I ordered the 1Dx April 17th. and what they did say was that I will not get the camera anytime soon. They will not tell me where do I stand on the pre order just that they are getting the 1Dx in very limited quantities. He did say-something like 5 at a time.This is very frustrating. I believe that they should say yes we are getting them in (#'s) and you are # so and so. Come on Canon and B&H I believe that you should be up front on this and not have your customers in suspension.

Guys, why dont you look around? I did order from B&H, then I did cancel my order and I did go with Abes of Maine, they did not even get a shipment or eta as of yet, someone on Saturday posted that local dealer has 4 in stock, day later I did call (saturdat) and they had it, I got tracking number and expecting camera to arive tomorrow, no pre order or anything. I did call abes or maine and I did cancel my order as I am getting this camera tomorrow without any hassle.

I agree, the availability is better from samller store sometimes. I long ago cancelled my B&H order unfortunately because I already got my unit from Camera Canada - great service BTW. I even believe they have some coming this week or next and are not fully assigned yet...

My order from B&H, placed on March 21, 2012 - shipped last Friday - arrives Wednesday! I know they got a big order in at the end of last week but not sure until what end date that covered.

According to their website they have them in stock now, or at least it doesn't say "Out of Stock." I'd hate to think they'd make you order it before saying it's out of stock.

Who, B&H? They say, "Pre order. Released in limited qty," which is exactly what they said on March 14, when I placed my order, and means there is no stock available for shipping - as soon as you placed the order, you would see the status is backordered here

Sorry to say but canceled my order with B&H this morning after getting the 1Dx from Infocus Camera & Imaging, LLC., Orange, Texas (409) 882-0044. Ordered yesterday and had it shipped overnight. If anyone needs a 1Dx they may have some left. When I ordered they had about 4-5 as the shipment from Canon came in. B&H could not tell me when my order would ship. I had to jump on the opportunity. I hope that this helps someone getting the 1Dx... At infocus ask for Marian, she was very helpful. My batteries are charging. Yes I ordered a second battery as I always carry two....

not sure what stock status has been recently, but b&h has lp-e4n batteries in stock. they had been hard to come by, so both those with camera and those waiting might want to take advantage of the opportunity.

just canceled my order with BHphoto as well. I was way down on their list.
Spam Removed has it in stock and Pearl at 847-555-1212 hooked me up and it will be shipping today. give her a call if you want one. she has a few more in stock. same price as BH.

I would like to know the status on my order and when I may expect delivery? I've ordered back in April, it's now August and I know of other dealers that currently have stock of the item. If I can't get an estimated delivery time by 8/8/2012 chances are high I may cancel my order with B&H.

I've been checking track order on my account page on B&H and it's been saying backordered since April. I checked today and it said: 102021xxxx

Order Status:
New order processing

Tracking:
Pending

Well at least I know the wheels are in motion,, keep on rolling right here to papa,,lol
