100mm f2.8L Macro IS USM

I'm sure this has been asked previously, so please let me apologize for the redundancy right now.
My question is this: Can the subject lens be used with a Canon 1.4x TE III? Thank you for any advice regarding this optical lashup.

No, it cannot. The shortest prime that's physically compatible with the Canon 1.4x TCs is the 135mm f/2L. The 180mm f/3.5L Macro will take Canon TCs.

The Kenko 1.4x is physically compatible, but many users have reported electronic incompatibility (camera lockup) with the 100L and 5DIII.
