Hi guys!

If you you have run your 16-35 f4 IS through Reikan FoCal how does your aperture sharpness curve and highest resolution number (using normal AF not peak focus) look like? I tried using FoCal 2 and the subscription, but it just crashes on me at the same point.

Thanks! I'll post my numbers when I try again with the 1.9 installed.

Viggo,

I haven't FoCal'ed my 16-35/4L, but I wanted to mention that you can have both versions 1.9 and 2.0-TR1 installed at the same time, and use them independently. At least I haven't found any ill effects of that.

Does your 2.0 work? Mine is on W7, and it will not work. I'm a Mac dude, but I have a win pc also, and it crashes every time at the second shot in the Fully Automatic Mode.

My 2.0 works as well as my 1.9. I'm on Win7 Pro 64-bit, for what it's worth. I haven't seen crashes with 2.0-TR1 (contrary to the 1.x versions), shooting with a 5D3. I haven't tested Ye Olde 50D yet.

I as "as well as my 1.9" because I don't have enough light at the moment to get to EV 9-10. At EV ~4, the results are not reliable (AFMA ends up in the 15-20 range, which is dead wrong). I'm actually heading out to a hardware store in a moment to get some 400W lamps to get higher EV numbers.

Report crashes of the beta test version so they can be fixed before its released. Tell them which camera, which computer brand and OS version. Also be sure that you have updated your Video card drivers, that's a frequent cause of issues.
