Sometimes I hate technology when it is used like that! Using something like twitter or FB to promote something and not putting it on their own website!

The other day was chatting to someone who asked why I did not attend a certain event. I had not received an invite, and knew nothing about it. He told me that I had been invited on facebook.

As I do not go to FB everyday, nor pay much attention to the invitations there when I do, I did not find out about it.

Why that company felt FB was better than an email I do not know.

Anyway, great news for those in Canada!
