1dx Shutter speed TV->M->TV and Aperture AV->M->AV

Hello,

I'm a little bit confused... After setting the shutter speed in program TV and trying to make a shot, than I'm switching in program M, the shutter speed in M is the same and overwrite my old M settings.

Let me explan that:
- M
- set Speed 1200
- press release a half
- TV
- set Speed 200
- press release a half
- M
- Speed is 200 !!!

Is that normally so?

If I am understanding you correctly. When you switch modes from Tv to M, the shutter speed you set in Tv will remain as it is when the mode is switched to M. That is normal.

Yes, You've understood me right. My 7D don't so work. The 5D3 don't work so. I'm surprised about the 1Dx.

That seems odd. My 5D3 doesn't behave like that. Is there a custom function regarding that on the 1Dx?

Confirmed.

TV -> M -> TV Shutter Speed set the M Shutter Speed.
AV -> M -> AV Aperture set the M Aperture.

M -> TV -> M Shutter Speed set the TV Shutter Speed.
M -> AV -> M Aperture set the M Aperture.

More confused.
