just wondering i am looking at buying the 1dx and am thinking with everything going on in the cannon world should i hold of and wait and see ?

Yes, the 1D X MkIV will be about 1000x better...and you'll only have to wait 12-14 years for it. :

Seriously, it's awesome - if you need the best and have the funds, just do it.

There is only one camera i drool over and that is the 1Dx. If you have the funds go for it. I doubt you would ever regret it. If I didn't have my update plan set in stone I would buy one tomorrow....

Get a rebel for now and wait for mrk III. It will be x300 better. With mrk III, you don't even have to lick the shutter button. Just blink your eye, the camera will do everything for you. It even make coffee while owner going through "DSLR for Dummies".

It is an amazing camera, and if you have not used the 1 series before prepare to fall in love.

If you can afford it, then get it - there is nothing better!
