I sold my 24-105 in August expecting a new release of the 24-70 or a 24-105 with IS. I AM SO PISSED...

You sold a perfectly good lens based on a perpetual rumor? Why?? Also, the 24-105 you sold already had IS. Oops...

Personally, I'm considering selling my 70-300mm DO in favor of the new 70-300mm L, but the 'replacement' lens has been officially announced and is even available for pre-order from some retailers.

Maybe all this waiting will mean Canon will give us 2-4 mm on the wide side. 20-70 f2.8L IS ftw
